Extraction Solutions
Traditional chimney hoods are bulky and visually intrusive. Ceiling extractors require a significant void (often 200mm+) to house the motor, which lowers the ceiling further—exactly what we are trying to avoid.

Installation and Scribing
Low ceilings, particularly in older properties, are rarely perfectly level. They often bow or slant. If you attempt to run cabinetry right up to the ceiling, these imperfections become obvious.
There are two main strategies here:
- Shadow Gap: Leave a deliberate, small gap (e.g., 20mm) between the top of the tall units and the ceiling. This “shadow gap” hides the uneven nature of the ceiling.
- Scribing Panels: Use a matching filler panel above the unit that is scribed (cut) to the exact contour of the ceiling. German filler panels are supplied in the exact same finish as the doors for a seamless look.

Planning for Durability
